MADE.COM virtual apartment
Pivoting from private press shows to an inclusive invitation for all during lockdown
Located above the MADE showroom in the heart of Amsterdam, our team adapted the 80m2 space to a conceptual ‘virtual apartment’ showcasing the brand’s latest collections.
Customers and the general public from around the world were invited to explore The Apartment online and discover MADE’s AW20 pieces from the comfort of their home. The interactive showcase spread across four rooms presenting key trends for the season.
As viewers move through the virtual space, interactive tags give individual stories behind MADE’s products; from design details to inspiration and designer collaborations.
For a full virtual reality experience, MADE’s fans can pick up a Google Cardboard for free from one of the seven MADE showrooms across Europe, and transport themselves to The Apartment in an instant.
Alternatively, on Instagram via special augmented reality filter, fans could look through a portal into The Apartment, or switch to a selfie mode where they will be virtually placed inside the space to explore each room in 360º.
Local press and influencers were invited to experience The Apartment IRL with private, socially distanced events and sweepstakes to win a sleep-over at the space.
Viewers online could shop the new AW20 pieces which launched online the same day.
